Sunny Ocean 3D LCDTV Review Specs Price
I wonder why top brand HDTV manufacturers have released a 3D capable LCD / LED TV’s which requires one to use a 3D Glass, while the Sunny Ocean 3D did not…wouldn’t it be much more of a hassle, what if there were only 2 pairs of 3d glasses for a family of 5? How will the 3 other people enjoy right?
That is where the Sunny Ocean 3D TV comes into play, a brand not a lot of people have heard of until they released, if the Sunny Ocean 3D tv would somehow become a hit on consumers then I rather have to think that other top of the line brands such as Samsung, Sony, Panasonic etc would follow suit and their newly released 3D tv would become obsolete in no time. Uhm not really obsolete but somehow its short lived hype would evaporate into thin air without notice.
That is basically what I can foresee of top brand manufacturers of HDTV such as Sony and Samsung would ignore the products like Sunny Ocean 3D which in this case has and advantage over other 3D hdtvs on the market… Ditching the need for a pair of 3D Glasses just to be able to watch 3D Movies using some good and high end 3D Blu Ray Players…. Now do you even see the trend here? In order for one to be able to harness the true power of 3D, one must start to assemble a good 3D Hometheater….
But the 3d hometheater is out of the scope here, so back to topic… the Sunny Ocean 3D would atleast never need a pair of 3D glasses, also this is also gonna cover those people who cant perceive 3D. Yeah, you just read it right… There were a small number of people who cant perceive 3D, you know, they go to IMAX to see, lets say Avatar 3D, and then they wear the glasses only to find out that all they can see is the same thing, blurred movie, much like the same thing when one tries to watch 3D movies without the glasses.
So how does this one project 3D images without the use of the specialized 3D glasses? Simple, the Sunny Ocean 3D uses the auto-stereoscopic display which uses special optics and a software algorithm to display 3D in 64 perspectives. The “inter-images” needed are the result of an automatic calculation (More about that later)….
So I think with the Sunny Ocean 3D coming out from the CeBIT 2010, this would rather be a wake up call for those big manufacturers, those big players on the HDTV industry to start explaining why there is still a need for 3D Glasses, whrein my theory is just for them to cash in some more extra profit, knowing that 3D Glasses would only work on the same brand of tv, so if you have got the Panasonic 3D Glasses then you would need a Panasonic Viera 3D TV to be able to view 3D Images and if you would use it on other brands like the Samsung LED 3D tv then it would be useless, even knowing that 3D Glasses only come in 2 pairs out of the box… If there were four more pairs of eyes then you would need four more pairs of 3D Glasses of the same brand.
Oh, before I forget, about the Sunny Ocean 3D Specs, Im gonna update this post later for the specifications as it is still being known for the moment, yet even the price is still unkown, but rest assured that Sunny Ocean 3D would release it before the latter half of the year starts. Its a 27″ 3D TV, small yet big package inside.
So, Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, even Sharp, Philips, Pioneer, ignore the new Sunny Ocean 3D that uses the auto-stereoscopic display and they might be on top of you in no time….
